Worry leads to anxiety and anxiety is the root of all ill health, disease and pain. Worry is an addiction that steals your faith in God and puts fear in its place. It destroys your peace of mind, drains all the joy out of life and can lead to depression, suicide or death from overeating or lack of sleep. Worry comes from a lack of trust in God’s power, wisdom and love for you. It’s not faith: it’s fear!

Alcohol is a problem. It’s not a solution to the problems you have, but it is one of those problems. It’s not the problem itself; it’s just another symptom of your deeper issues. When you drink alcohol, you’re trying to solve a problem that doesn’t need solving—and drinking alcohol only makes things worse for yourself and everyone around you.
If this sounds like something that applies to your life right now, know that there is hope! You can stop drinking alcohol if you work hard enough at it, but sometimes it takes help from others who have been in similar situations before: Al Anon meetings are held throughout the world every day so people can talk about their experiences with addiction and recovery together in an environment where they’ll feel safe sharing their struggles without judgment or stigma attached (because all addicts have problems).

We all have to deal with frustration. It’s important that we learn how to manage our reactions to frustration so that the difficult situation doesn’t escalate into something worse than it could have been.
When I feel frustrated, I must acknowledge my anger and then try not react hastily by losing control over myself or others around me. Instead of reacting impulsively with anger or resentment at being placed in an uncomfortable position, I will try more positively by accepting the challenge before me without giving into despair or giving up hope on what may happen next in my life journey towards recovery from addiction

When you are wrong, admit it. It does not matter how small or how big the mistake was. It does not matter who was involved in your mistake or the circumstances surrounding it. All that matters is that you take responsibility for your actions, apologize to those affected by them, and correct the problem as best you can.
This may sound like an easy thing to do but trust me when I tell you that it’s not always easy to step up and be honest with ourselves when we have done something wrong! In fact, sometimes it’s downright painful or embarrassing! But if we want people around us (including ourselves) to respect our honesty then this is one way we show them how much integrity we have about being truthful regardless of what others might think about us being wrong or making mistakes; because admitting when someone else is wrong is often far more difficult than admitting when YOU are wrong yourself!!
Just for today, I will practice acceptance and tolerance of those around me.
